Molly learned to skip recently. This is great, except I'm suffering from a bad case of mom guilt because she didn't learn it from me. She came home from school one day and her teacher had taught her. Gasp! There's so many things I'm supposed to be teaching, sometimes I have a hard time between, say, skipping and, I don't know, not hitting your brother when you want to sit in that chair. It's a tough choice, and the skipping lost this one. It's sad because now that opportunity is gone, it's not like I can rewind and be the one that showed her--first you hop on one leg, then the other, see?
On a side note--the entryway was spotless literally 2 minutes before I shot this video. Apparently my kids suffer from a weird disease that causes them to take off every article of clothing and leave it in a giant pile right by the door. In Sunday school the instructor was talking about how his wife is so great, she always has the house in order when he comes home from work and he just loves it! It's so nice! It took some effort not to yell out "You have 2 teenagers! Who are gone all day at school! Try keeping the house spotless all day with toddlers, sucka!"
Anyway, the point is--how cute is the skipping girl?? SO CUTE.
