Before I had kids I used to look at other people's children and think, how could they let them out of the house looking like that? Mismatched socks, some ratty shirt, pants that stop mid-calf, you know. Now I know the little secret called "I want to pick what I will wear today" or its closely related cousin "I refuse to wear pants even in February." And now I understand.
Here we have unmatched stripes paired with red velvet church shoes for preschool.
Another fashion hit--sparkly sweater dress, polka-dot leggings (or smoothies, as she calls them), hot pink socks, and tennis shoes for a day at the beach.
