My only regret? That my kids aren't old enough to appreciate how great this moment is, though I still made them watch it. A short conversation during the broadcast:
Me: This is a really big deal.
Molly: This is a big big deal?
Me: Yep, a big deal.
Molly: There Bawack Obama!
Me: Yes, there he is.
Molly: Can I have a banana?

Molly sums up how I feel about it. i didn't even watch. I have never watched an inaugural address, why start now? It's always just the same crap in different piles.
Why start now? Hmmmmmm, I've never watched before either, but aside from my political leanings it is certainly a historic moment that I would love for Molly to remember. It's just a bonus that I voted for Obama.
Loved it, Abby got to watch at school and was really into it. She thinks he's great. I have to say that I was shocked by your last post. Amber, happy about sun. What is the world coming to :)
