Today I'm sitting in the office. My kids are 'watching' Wiggles, in between pretending their soft chair is a bus. They take turns saying "Get on!" then they roll each other off and laugh. Then they take turns squishing each other. Molly just asked if I could put Amos on her back so she could give him a piggyback ride. Considering 90% of this morning was spent screaming IT'S MINE and running away, this seems, well, fantastic.
We just made my favorite cookies--Peanut Butter Blossoms. A peanut butter cookie with a Hershey Kiss stuck on top. Yum. Amos smeared his kiss all over the table and then Molly tried to lick it off. Earlier I caught her licking straight sugar from the bowl she was supposed to be using to roll the dough balls in sugar before baking.
It's cloudy outside but I can see hints of the sun that Matt Zaffino says is coming this weekend, sun that will enable me to weed and perhaps plant some vegetables and not wear my puffy coat.
The other day I was driving home from work. I was on the Oregon City bridge going over the river and I noticed a hawk flying from the left. As it passed over me I saw that it had a fish in its claws. Like it had run to the drive-through and was bringing home dinner for the fam.

Today we went to the doctor because of Molly's asthma issues. There is a street in West Linn called CHOW MEIN LANE. Say it out loud. I really really wish I could say I lived on CHOW MEIN LANE.

I know the exact street you are talking about. I always think that is funny. There's a street over off of Lake Rd called Someplace Else or something like that.
Amber! Thank you for your tip. I hurriedly wrote back to you on my blog, then realized that you probably wouldn't read my blog to see if I responded to your comment. Maybe I am suffering from brain damage and that's why blogger seems to have one up on my mental abilities.
So, my question - how do you cut and paste? I mean I know how to do it on word but it doesn't work for me on blogger. Is there some trick to it? Okay, I will stop this ridiculously long comment, but you are my first blossom of hope. By the way, I love your blog, too! We are thinking of coming in for Memorial Day - will you be around? It would be soooooooooo fun to get together for lunch or something!
