I got home early from work on Thursday. Amos looked up at me and said, "Me glad you're home." This kid is so sweet.
Molly says she loves her leggings because they are smooth, "like smoothies."
Amos gathering all his "aminals" to nap with him. He then lays down and tells me to hurry up and put the blankets on because his aminals are "so cold."
Molly gets up early most mornings, before I leave for a morning run. Each time when I get back she sees me walk by the window and she runs to open the door, with this excited look on her face literally like it's Christmas morning. And I've only been gone 30 minutes. I just need to know how to bottle this up and keep it for when she is 14 and hates me.
Every morning when I get Amos out of his crib he wraps one arm around my neck, puts his head on my shoulder, and pats my back. It lasts a good 5 minutes. I can't recommend it enough as a way to start the day.
Whenever Molly talks about anything in the past, even if it was only a month ago, she says, "that was when I was tiny. Remember when I was tiny?" Yes, I remember when you were tiny.
